Elegant and stylish, The Granary Holiday Cottage Melrose is a renovated self catering property set in a stunning rural setting. With open plan living / dining / kitchen and four en-suite bedrooms it is the ideal accommodation for groups and families.

Taking advantage of the wonderful views over the rolling Scottish Borders countryside, the Granary Holiday Cottage Melrose spans two levels with three sumptuous bedrooms on the first floor and the main open plan living space and a further bedroom on the lower ground floor.

The main open plan living area is spacious and luxurious with a mix of classic furnishings and contemporary features, and is a wonderful space for groups and families to enjoy. Large bi-folding doors open onto a terrace and garden from which you can enjoy the stunning views. In the Winter cosy in around the woodburner whilst enjoying the ever-changing landscape.

Open plan living/dining/kitchen

The sitting room area features elegant furnishings by Michael Vee Interiors. Two large double sofas and armchairs provide plenty of seating space. Contemporary woodburner (logs supplied). Books and board games are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave and integrated dishwasher. Large oak dining table comfortably seats eight guests.

Master Bedroom

Located on the upper floor the master bedroom comes with zip and link beds with can be adapted to super-king or twin as required. Dressing table, two side tables, storage cupboard with shelving and hanging rail. Two steps lead up to the en-suite bathroom with feature bath overlooking open countryside to the hills beyond. There is a separate shower unit, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

Bedroom 2

Also located on the upper floor bedroom 2 has zip and link beds which can be adapted to super-king or twin as required. Dressing table, 2 side tables with storage cupboard and hanging space. En-suite bathroom with large bath and shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

The 3rd bedroom is the final room located on the upper lever and has zip and link beds which can be adapted to super-king or twin as required. Two side tables, dressing table and storage cupboard. En-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower unit, heated towel rail, basin, WC.

Located on the Ground/ lower floor bedroom 4 also has zip and link beds which can be adapted to super-king or twin as required. Dressing table, 2 side tables with storage cupboard and hanging space. A door leads out to the patio and garden. En-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower, heated towel rail, WC, and basin.

The Granary is built over 2 floors. You enter the property on the upper floor with Two sets of stairs leading to the lower ground floor

On the upper level you will find the master bedroom and 2 further spacious double bedrooms.

On the lower ground level you will find the open plan living area a Cloakroom with WC and basin and bedroom number 4.

There is alternative parking and access to the granary from the lower ground level, ideal for any guests with mobility issues.
